Inspiration in a Tumultuous Time

I'm in need of some inspiration right now. Maybe this will help you, too.

It's so essential that we focus on goals that have higher vibrations, that we focus on discernment, on appropriate neutrality, on healthy self-esteem and confidence and patience and compassion.

So.

“It’s never too late to have a good childhood.” – medicine man friend of Aubrey Marcus (quoted in podcast episode titled, “What Is Holding You Back from Greatness? w/ Lewis Howes”)

“My husband died as a father of freedom. I am a mother of liberty. Banned books need to be proudly displayed and protected [from school boards like this].” - Grace Linn protesting book bans by Martin County, FL school district. She was a 100yo widow of WWII vet.

“Your body has all the healing things. My whole goal was to get the scientific community and the consciousness community together because it’s really the same thing…in…harmonics, you can prove it.” – Emery Smith

“Life will present you with people and circumstances that reveal where you’re not free.” – Peter Crone

“The older I get, the more I am obsessed with ancestral trauma…No offense to parents, but it’s not all to your credit and it’s not all your fault.” – Whitney Cummings

“They don’t want the sages to teach you how to step into a place of being calm and non-reactive! …They wanna turn it woo-woo…Instead of looking at spirituality as an evolutionary tool…They want you to think that anything that doesn’t fall in alignment to their industry that they built for you to go through, that conveyor belt of manipulation, you have to look at everything with judgement…and as we say in African shamanism, judgement means you are afraid to see other people…afraid to see what’s outside of your own perception…That’s all governed by the virus of fear.”

                                                                             – Shaman Durek

“The need to be seen and the complete horror of being seen” -Sonia Saraiya, Variety

“The intellect, which is based on memory, is a wonderful tool. However, it can only inform – it cannot transform.” – Sadhguru

“You know, a lot of people don’t realize that certain emotions actually cause disease in specific organs. This has been known in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. Emotions of fear directly affect the reproductive organs, the kidneys and adrenals…If somebody’s experiencing frustration and anger, it’s toxic to the liver…If somebody’s experiencing feelings of depression…that affects the colon and the lungs, which is your immune system…If somebody has anxiety and nervous, that affects the heart, the small intestine and the nerves system. If somebody is a big worrier, that affects the spleen, the pancreas, as well as the stomach.” – Josh Axe, DNM, DC, CNS

“You have total access to reality. The truth of that reality is available; It‘s a really strange thing to say that…Today, unlike any other time in human history that I can think of. The truth is there to find, in any walk of life - Political, social, cultural, artistic, spiritual, physiological, nutritional, whatever you care to think…If people want the truth, they can go to it. You can’t know all truth but you can focus on the things that are most important. Most people don’t want the truth. What they want is to settle instead for a very satisfying reality…’Well, I’m glad you’ve got your reality and your truth; that’s cool because I’ve got my reality and my truth’. That’s a fantasist…Many people…do that in a really harmful way…their delusion has a lot of conditions…If you’re protecting a fantasy…you have to defend it, ‘cause it’s vulnerable and it’s unreal, and one of those things is, ‘Don’t offend me’…That’s what people want, to settle for a fantasy.”
