8 Women Who Have Inspired Me

 

  

-          Regina Meredith Discerning, brave, so intelligent, thoughtful about her articulation during interviews, which I believe she’s great at, by the way. Regina has a great deal of experience in journalism, and her show on the Gaia streaming network was an excellent resource for me. In addition to all the good info she provides, I admire how much she speaks up in the face of any suppressive pushback. That’s the big reason why I call her brave. She cares very much about energy work, self-awareness, and sharing truth and facts. I admire how committed she is to those things. We need journalists in the world with her type of ethics and integrity.

Bananas! My Visit to 'Season of Warhol'

          My mom's a talented artist and recently, she had a painting to drop off to Rochester Contemporary Art Center as part of an upcoming exhibition, so she kindly invited me to come along. She was all, “I could get us tickets to Andy Warhol!”, which, for each of us, is an offer that’s quite hard to resist, so I said yes (I mean, duh), and the trip introduced me to other impactful, fantastic work. Partway through my time in the Memorial Art Gallery, I started thinking about sharing notes with you on what I saw. I’m including images! Also, there were long conversations with my wonderful mom who threatened to abandon me in that city, far from home, only four times!

Kathy Griffin Photo Controversy

I'm not surprised that Kathy Griffin just lost her New Year's Eve contract with CNN, because that sort of thing is to be anticipated following something like her most recent photo shoot with Tyler Shields that included Griffin holding what appeared to be the head of (*tries not to vomit*) P-Pres- no - Mr. Donald Trump. Part of me thinks that having the photo exist, but especially, for it to be public, is a bad thing, disrespectful to the office of President, and that same part of me worries about the message that the image sends to other countries, especially people with a strong anti-American attitude.
