No Matter Where You Go, There You Are.

             I was trying to figure out how I’d make a certain point in this essay and – ta da!   – Christina Lopes, DPT, MPH posted something to her YouTube account that helps to get me started. On the image are the words, “Non-attachment is the most loving thing you can do”, and the post goes on to say, “Why do we cling so hard to people, things and titles? It’s not just because we love them. It’s because they hold our self-image together – like emotional superglue.”  

   First off, did you get here because of my drawing on Instagram, promoting this post? Because girl, it is a g e m ! I obviously didn't sketch and plan it out first, just went for it, and that piece is gutter magic  -level greatness. This, my readers, is officially my apology for that sight, and I assure you that such a thing won't happen again. Moving on...     I sat through the docu-series Tiger King , you guys, and I wanna talk about it. Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness presents people who are the antithesis of the freedom for which I aim. Get a bunch of deeply hurt children into adulthood and they might devote their lives to the pursuit of control, which of course creates dark drama, then add big cats and poor financial choices, you’ve got Tiger King , so I was reluctant to even click ‘play’.

          First off, I apologize to the blog itself for that long hiatus!!!!! There's no excuse for it.  I missed you. *pets blog*            Since it's St Valentine's Day,  I got reflective about certain ways I've spent the holiday in the past, having a boyfriend who wanted to celebrate it, and...well, so much has happened since then, and I'm  looking forward to a better future relationship.            If you'd like to see a photo of a handmade valentine I once got from the aforementioned then-boyfriend, read on!

So on July 20th,  I had my reunion with Goldie. It was predictably anticlimactic. Prepare yourself.

When I date someone, I like to have very few photos of us together, especially on social media.  In this post, I go on to mention redheads, dancers, a cat and Beyonc é .
